Doesn't look like anything actually happened here yet.

But the discussion is about deporting pre-1995 Vietnamese refugees. Sort of like the bit with the Haitians last year.

Add in attempts to restrict otherwise legal immigration (chain immigration, tighter H1-Bs, etc...) and it's abundantly clear that notions of border security, controlling the drug trade, etc ... are ancillary issues at best. It's nativism, plain and simple.
