You can't be violent to kids in video games, for example. There was a company that caught flak recently because they were thinking of releasing a violent, let's say anti-metoo game. They pulled the plug on allowing it. But war/military violence is allowed, or defeating 'bad guys' in a gory manner is fine. So there is a line already.

I grew up on violent video games, so I tend to not see an issue with video game violence. But if you want to regulate video games, everything else perpetuating violence needs to get thrown in also, like the evening news which is horribly violent in my opinion.
