Easy: you already have up to 6 million Republican votes in CA and 4 mill


Dem votes in Texas that dont mean shit (while the winner in Wyoming can carry a mere 100K votes and get 3 EV). The more people shift from those depopulated states to the bigger ones, the more people end up disenfranchised while states like Wyoming will always get a guaranteed 3 EVs, even if only 10 people vote. If EVs were proportioned by votes in each state it would be better but still would have the flyover problem. If you think about it, it’s pretty ridiculous that states with fewer people than Oakland get two senators, a rep, and 3 EVs.

Think about this: Kamala Harris represents 25 million people, while a Senator from Wyoming about 250K.
