Which good parts? That proposal was put out after Schumer already withdrew

his support for what he previously agreed to, and furthermore refused to acknowledge the $25M figure he claimed to have agreed to. I assume by "good parts" you mean the path to citizenship for the 1.8M DACA eligible folks. (I would argue there are other good parts) Again, this was after Schumer reneged, but I believe that path was floated again in this year's shutdown negotiations, but I could be misremembering all those details.

But regardless, if that proposal were put out there today, it's a solid starting point needing only minor tweaks at most IMO. (and better than any of the other proposals I saw as I recall them, all put out by the GOP with nothing but steadfast refusal from the Dems as Hool is pointing out) I would think both parties should be able to jump on it and come to an easy compromise. If they truly care about putting DACA kids over political wedge issues to drive voters and donations. Sadly both parties seem to prefer the latter.
