That is a false and dangerous argument. Iran remains the leading


state-sponsor of terrorism in the region, be it it support for the Syrian regime, Hezbollah and the Islamic front in Lebanon, Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza, Houthi rebels in Yemen in addition to the actions of its own Iranian Revolutionary Army. They promoted demonstrations chanting “Death to America” even after the nuclear agreement was signed and sanctions were lifted, and their current regime still calls for the destruction of Israel as a primary objective.
