If you review the transcript of his statement, it’s fairly evident that he was alluding to the people on both sides of the Confederate monument issue.

As to his opinion on neo-Nazis and white supremacy, he also included this in his statement which seems to be consistently overlooked by MSM and Trump-haters:

“Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”

So while it’s true that this disgusting anti-Semitic group chanted “Jews will not replace us” , it’s also true that Trump finds them repugnant. RQ, like many on the left, willingly misinterpreted the President’s statement for dramatic effect.
