Haven't Fed rates only gone up under Trump? After having been virtually at

zero for the entirety of Obama's 8 yrs? And several rounds of accommodative quantitative easing. Not disagreeing with you that lowering Fed rate when you're as low as we are is going to have limited impact, and that we should be hoping to return to more normal rates, but kind of hard to criticize Trump and what happened under his watch for that.

As for spending, even this absurd deficit is but icing on the cake of what Obama left us, and what was left to him. But obviously I couldn't agree more that we have screwed our kids and grandkids and will limit how impactful moves they'll want to make can be while they service our massive debt.

As for taxes, the bulk of reduction in revenue was from the Corporate side, which you (and I, and many) supported. And didn't Nancy tell us about the stimulus power of UE, food stamps, etc.? Wouldn't that create a similar stimulus when returned to taxpayers, or does that only work when a Dem supports it?
