It will definitely not be enough if those outside his base are galvanized. And that may well turn on how true your statement is. I don't actually think it is - I think the Squad is now the face of Trump's racism. The USA article makes no mention at all of their lefty policies. It's all about the racist "trope" and racist past. The Green New Deal didn't suddenly become more popular.
A lot will depend on how the dems manage this. It should be part of their message but by no means the entire message. I saw Lindsey Graham screaming about these 4 being Communists - that's going to resonate with everyone in Trump's base. They are voting with or without that. It doesn't resonate with people who know the meaning of the word communist.
The dems need to turn Trump's all out rush to run in 2020 against the Squad, a bunch of outspoken frosh congressmen, against him. Shouldn't be that hard. They are not on the ticket. We'll see, as the primaries advance and the list of candidates whittles itself down to where we can actually dissect a message, or a few front running competing messages.
