Sure, I don't think Trump illuminated anything about that. If anything he
brought a moment of quasi-unity (although AOC couldn't resist a pot shot at Nancy's "there are only 4 of them" remark after the immigration funding vote).
There's no doubting the fact that there is a rift in the dem party. I think dems are hyper-aware of that. It's not like Trump's remarks suddenly guarantee them a 2020 victory. They're still going to have to figure out a way to execute on all this, not give rise to a third party candidate, walk the line between the lefty primary voters and centrist (to maybe center-right, as we used to think of "right" pre-Trump) general election voters.
Trump is perhaps showing them a path in his eagerness to make the Squad the dem party emblem.
