I agree. Public hearings are good, but that also means complying ...


with Congressional subpoenas. The White House have been playing political games too.

The White House made 2 MAJOR mistakes:

1. Bill Barr passed on investigating based on the whistleblower complaint. He passed everything to Congress. He couldn't appoint a special counsel that he could control. He lost all power. Why he passed, that's up for debate?

2. The White House REFUSED to cooperate. That prevented putting their lawyers the closed hearings. They have NO IDEA what's being said. They can't coordinate their stories with the witnesses like they did with the Mueller investigation. They have no clue. THAT IS 100% ON THE WHITE HOUSE. Don't stonewall on every single issue.

Selected leaks? Opening testimonies are fair game. There are more than 40+ Republicans in the closed hearings. What are they doing? Note it was Trey Gowdy and Mike Pompeo who changed the rules giving the majority more power on closed hearings. That's on the GOP.
