Wow. This IG report is dense. Makes Mueller seem like a holiday special.

For those inclined to read it, I suggest pages 345 and beyond as these are the conclusions. I didn't see anything that disagreed with what media outlets are describing. No political or ethical malfeasance. Some omissions, errors or just poor communications among a fairly large and disparate batch of people. Importantly, those errors COULD have influenced decision on renewals of already approved FISA warrants. That said, considering the low bar for getting those warrants (as described within this report) that seems highly unlikely. (I am no fan of our government investigating its own citizens. However, that is simply another casualty of the WOT in my mind.)

There are also areas in this report that mention the differences in FBI reporting/investigating versus the Intelligence Community. The IC tries to set a higher bar for proof. That is why when reading intelligence assessments they seem to so rarely come to conclusions. They prefer just laying out evidence and only evidence that they can corroborate. I suspect these differences are what Barr/Durham are going to detail in the next report.

Now for those who are not strict minions of orange. the previous 345 pages is downright disturbing. The quantity of data; number of sources; confidence of those sources in some pretty significant information in regards to Russia interactions with orange is unreal - and I've been reading the previous testimonies/reports.

I will once again say that it is incredible to me that this was asked for by the WH and DOJ. It is damning of the orange campaign in my opinion. The length of time that the campaign had been collaborating with Russian intel isn't just months, but years. All the salacious stuff is also still here and while none could be completely corroborated, multiple sources appear to believe this evidence exists. I am happy that Durham's report likely cannot include much that is new, but isn't classified.
