... I don't believe she could be removed simply because she was a woman because that would violate her rights under Title IX. Similarly, I believe she would protected under the whistleblower provisions of federal law. And finally, there is the always the "corrupt purpose" codicil. So while amabassadors can be removed for any number of reasons, big or small, it is not an absolute power.
