Couple of more points .....

Rates were rocketing before Trump. In my case $550/mo (2015), $900/mo (2016), $1600/mo (2017, rates set in 2016).

Medicaid doesn’t factor in unless you include income level cutoff points for ACA subsidy (45k single, 65k couple, 95k family).

Singularly screwed is an over simplification. Talk to people on Obamacare that don’t qualify for the subsidy. Even then, everyone stil has a high deductible.

I have been without health insurance for 2 years. If I can roll the dice for 5 more I can enroll in Medicare. Knock on wood wife and I are both healthy and take no prescriptions.

Oh well, as The Casuals used to sing while covering Graham Parker .....”Just something you’re going through”.

No worries. Life is good and I am fortunate.
