No one is blaming Trump for the virus. Very few saw it coming. However ...

the way he handled it from January after it bloomed in China ... and then his managing of the economy have been atrocious.

1. Trump is trying to blame this on China. No shit Sherlock ... it started in China. However, pandemics / epidemics have been around forever. Trump and his administration were woefully unprepared after getting a lead time of 2 months.

2. Trump managed the markets like shit since he's been in office. Currently, we have record low interest rates at the beginnings of a potential recession. The moron demanded the FED to lower interest rates in a good market. Now Trump has only fiscal policy as his tool to fight panic in the markets or he risks massive inflation to create liquidity. Recession + Inflation = Horrific.

3. In January, Trump said the virus wasn't that big of a threat. In February, he said it was contained while WHO and US Intelligence said something different. On Feb 28th, Trump said COVID-19 was like the Russian and Ukraine "Hoax" perpetrated by the Democrats and MSM. In March, Trump claimed the virus was contained again. All lies.

4. Trump continues to attack rather than soothe in a national emergency.

5. Trump continues to dispute Dr. Anthony Fauci on medical research. The Moron who once said the virus was controlled, is now using anecdotal evidence as the basis of the efficacy of a drug. Trump thinks he knows more the Fauci ... who helped dissipate the HIV epidemic.

6. The other day, Trump claimed he knew this was a pandemic a long ago. WTF is he talking about?!?! If he really knew, he lied to America for 2 months. That's not incompetence. That's negligence.

There's no reason to believe Donald Trump. The markets indicate they have no confidence either. He constantly lies. The administration's communication is all over the place. In times of adversity, a leader shows their worth. Unfortunately, Trump is failing miserably. Let's hope he turns it around. I have my doubts.

Michael Osterholm said a lot of people in the medical community felt this was a pandemic waiting to happen in January. No one blames Trump for the virus. However, he's is a deer in headlights right now. That's a major concern.
