The Dems are complaining about $500B of few-strings-attached corporate bailout cash because that's what Dems do. But in the end they'll let it go through because allowing it will get them some number of their laundry list demands. Also, they are on pretty much all of the same lobbyist payoff lists as the GOP is, so they don't REALLY have a complaint.

The GOP is posturing about all the normal sort of "Real American" tripe because that's what GOPs do. But in the end they'll give the Dems some of their laundry list demands because it will let their corporate masters get their hands on $500B of few-strings-attached corporate bailout cash that's all they REALLY care about.

The deficit will balloon, the dollars will trickle down about as little as they usually do, and everyone will blame everyone else just like every other day.
