On FB, which my friend list is likely to be leaning liberal, while all condemns the violence, many (especially the white educated suburban women sector) come out strongly supports Black Lives Matter movement. Even on the violence part, many mentioned how Kaepernick was ostracized when he did peaceful protest. I feel like there an energy now in the group who while previously sympathetic to the racial inequality issues, now feels the need to work towards actively making changes.
