When you take the law into your own hands you get anarchy and mob rule.

Any group who think they have received the short end of the stick can now go out and take their vengeance.
The rule of law is the way civilized society deals with inequities. How many groups out there think they’re getting screwed by the government. If violence is the answer to all these groups, you better arm yourself.
