Brees displayed little to no empathy with his initial comment. Again, Kaepernick's kneeling was never a disrespect to the US military or flag. He's said it numerous times. It was a peaceful protest highlighting police brutality against African Americans in this country. How hard is that to understand? Stop hijacking the message.
Do I think Malcolm Jenkins overreacted a bit. Yes. However, I understand why he's emotional at this moment. I also understand his pain. The best thing for Jenkins ... try to talk and work with Brees. From his past charity work, Drew Brees earned that benefit.
As for your LeBron James comment ... yes, his reluctance to call out the Chinese Government over HK was disappointing. I also called him out for it. However, he's done a lot of good for America as well. He's not a "joke."
How hard is it to show a bit of empathy? Do you always have to be an asshole?
