Nope, I live about an hour from there
Grew up a Michigan fan and made a conscious decision to stay that way. Sometime in middle school I realized it was possible I might go somewhere else for college (and obviously I did) and decided then and there that I'd add that school to my fanhood rather than replace the old. Sort of like when people say they didn't lose a daughter, but gained a son.
Quickly on the subject of Kaepernick: the manner of protest is always up for debate. In Kaepernick's case he legitimately offended a lot of people, who feel that he put his race above his country and disrespected something that they hold very dear. The response to that from his allies has been to basically tell them they have no right to be offended. It's no wonder that didn't get anywhere with them. And of course, if people were to say there is no police brutality issue, that would go over like a fart in church as well. Imagine going up to some of these protesters and telling them there is no police brutality problem in this country.
