I was trying to make a couple of points. First the government/police should enforce the law equally. I don’t care for the monuments. There has been a push for years to change the law in Virginia, so that they could be removed. The people spoke through their elected leaders and the law was changed. The process should be followed and not mob rule. And my other point. Extremist behavior on one side generally brings out the extremists on the other side. And I think all of that puts monuments like the civil rights memorial at risk.
