the mismanagement is going to cost.

In direct $ and cents. We will have another stimulus package with extensions of the PPP and unemployment benefits. Potentially another after this one. We will be paying for this for generations. In areas that are more difficult to quantify, like the cost of kids not being back in school (to the kids, to the families that need to make it work at home, etc.).

It really is a disaster. We can't pin the virus on anyone (in this country anyhow). But so much of what we've been seeing in recent weeks was totally avoidable. Not all of it - even countries in Europe and Asia will see hot spots and have to reverse course every so often. Nothing about this is easy.

This exercise shouldn't be political. We should be racking all of this up and asking ourselves whether the "executives" should continue to do their jobs. The reality is most of those "executives" happen to be Republican and they made the mistake of hitching their wagons to our idiot POTUS and his idiot team- and that POTUS has made this political from the jump. I wouldn't hold leaders from another party to standards that are any different.
