Interesting take. Like schools not opening, like most of us still working


from home, it will just serve as another reminder of how poorly we've managed this as a country, how badly our leadership has failed us.

This election should be nothing more than a referendum on Donald Trump's first term (which will clearly be forever intertwined with Covid 19). Unfortunately, the GOP decided not to have that referendum within the party, instead doubling down on Donald J Trump. Guess what? Probably a bad bet. He's already cost us $trillions (we aren't talking about this enough BTW), his failed leadership will cost us at least the first half of the school year, it will cost us sports we love to watch (doesn't seem to rise to the same level).

But whatever. Liberate Michigan! Again- how dumb does that all look now? Like everything would just spring back?
