This is always fascinating to me...


...I'm also in the financial industry, by the way. It's fascinating to me how two smart guys can look at the same situations and come to completely different views of reality.

As for being a Trumper, my votes for President in the past have been for Reagan, GHWB (in 1988, but not 1992), Dole (reluctantly, although he is a good guy, IMO), W twice, McCain (really held my nose -- never liked that guy) and Romney (who I actually liked a lot at the time and thought he had a great chance to beat Obama). In the 2016 primary season, I was a Cruz supporter, although I thought he had little chance of winning the nomination. I would have voted for literally anyone over Clinton (probably how you feel about Trump now), so it wasn't about Trump.

I point all this out so that maybe in the future you can be a bit more thoughtful about what you assume is true about other people's beliefs. For me, it has never been about Trump per se -- it's about the policies he fights for.

Here's the thing about Republican "moderates" -- they fucking lose 100% of the time. GHWB, Dole, McCain and Romney -- all losers. Of course you like them -- why wouldn't you -- but thanks, but no thanks, from me.
