Meth, heroin, etc. are not legalized in Oregon. They're decriminalized.


They made it a traffic-level misdemeanor and they offer the "offenders" rehab funded by state cannabis sales taxes. Nothing has been legalized, except for cannabis. That's pretty much what you're calling for, no?

As for the addiction aspect... that's a slippery slope. Are we going to start monitoring how much fast-food or sugar people consume? Alcohol? People can become addicted to cannabis, too...

But I also agree that cannabis should not be treated the same as heroin, meth, etc. ... they are not the same.
