A few things I’d note

(1) That says some exit poll data suggests Trump did very marginally better with African Americans and Latino voters than he did four years ago. It doesn’t say anything at all about social class, so we can’t read “working class” into it unless we assume that all those voters are working class, and I suspect you’re talking about mostly middle class voters (e.g., Florida Cubans where Trump did significantly better against Biden than he did Hillary)

(2) incumbents always have an advantage, especially with people who have done well the last four years, and I’m not sure going from 4% of the vote to 8% says anything. Not to mention it’s perfectly reasonable for someone of color to think Trump (and many of his supporters) are racists or bigots (kinda hard to argue the opposite) but vote for him anyways. That could be because you generally think all white politicians are and respect that he doesn’t hide it. It could be because you benefit in some other way. I also think he does better with minority men than women because he appeals in some ways to “macho” dudes.

(3) If I’m not mistaken, this is election day exit poll data that doesn’t count mail-in votes. A greatly disproportionate number of working class minorities voted by mail. So I’m not at all surprised that election day data showed some gains.

(4) Very possible to think Trump is awful but the Dems are worse. There are black and certainly Latino Republicans. But again, not sure where “working class” is coming from.

In any event, I’m not sure what stock you can put in this data point. I certainly don’t think it means Trumpism is gaining ground in minority communities. Black voters showed up in force to retake the rust belt and even Georgia and Latinos have always been a mixed bag. Take a look at how Dubya and MCCain did wirh Latino voters.
