repudiation of Trump and everything he stands for.... because that would make me feel more optimistic about the future of our country. But since that didn't happen, this is easily the next best thing, and if I think about, it's probably better. Certainly for me personally it is. Trump is gone (the most important thing by far) and when the final tally is in, he will have lost by a bigger margin than his "landslide" over Hillary. Hopefully at this point, the GOP maintains control of the senate to keep some of Joe's more aggressive tax changes in check, but even if the Dems ultimately take the senate, I think the results show they need to tread carefully before pushing too far left.
