toady, he really is a pretty traditional Republican who just happened to vote with Trump 95% of the time, and 100% on Supreme Court justices, but he's not Trumpanzee.

I mean, he had to go, and I'm glad he went, but there wasn't anything about him for a registered Republican not to like.

As to the subject of the larger thread, as much as I enjoyed the Lincoln Project ads, I was voting Democrat anyway, and the harsh, sometimes nasty tone might indeed have turned off some moderate Republicans and right-leaning independents, and weren't they the target market?
