I think you are overstating the science on all this.


Seems intuitive and apparently supported by the science that masks are most necessary in settings with poor ventilation. Inside but with great ventilation, lack of mask compliance is likely less dangerous. Outside, less dangerous still.

This article is about 5 months old and the science is constantly changing, but this does not support your view that masks outdoors produce no benefit at all. In crowds, it could produce a benefit. I personally see no big deal with keeping a mask on me, and when outside coming up on people, putting it on. Is it really too much inconvenience to bear for even a small chance that it helps?
