I don't know many Democrats who see Nancy Pelosi that way
Bernie absolutely, Katie Porter, AOC...those are the examples of politicians that are fighting for everyday people. Pelosi is "establishment" in every sense of the word and the power and wealth that comes along with that. It's why you see the progressive wing of the party spar with her. The Democrats' tent is pretty expansive and you'll find a lot of variety within it. They're generally weaker than their Republican counterparts as far as party unity based on singular beliefs but the strength comes with an expanded coalition. There's more room for criticism there and I think Nancy's mask-less salon trip and freezer of ice cream are just examples of her being a bit tone deaf to her constituents' struggles.
The people who think that Hillary, Nancy, and Chuck get some sort of hero worship amongst Dems really don't know the party very well.
