For sure. Plutocracy isn't good.
Influence peddling and other sorts of corruption are anathema to the concept of a Democracy of equal voices.
But it is simply a logical fallacy to presume that someone's wealth renders them unable to properly steer the Good Ship America.
That ship sailed away looooooooooooong ago, from a place where ordinary Joes off the street were particularly qualified to govern. Sure. That works at the relatively local level. And perhaps even in the House of Representatives to some degree. But no, I don't think the average American is remotely qualified for major elected office.
