...citing some of the actual text of Trump's remarks, which separates you from the other folks on this board who claim Trump incited an insurrection but fail to provide any evidence whatsoever.
Look, his speech was fiery -- I will give you that. We are in uncharted waters in this country, as a Presidential election has been stolen in the eyes of half the country, which isn't about Trump, but is rather about their disenfranchisement. This is serious business. It should not be taken lightly, and Trump's speech, however fiery, was not out of context, given what has transpired.
Whether you believe it is probative or not, there is a shit ton of evidence casting the legitimacy of the election into doubt. Further, it is intolerable for my side to listen to the side that fabricated, investigated and prosecuted completely bullshit Russia collusion charges for four years, thus hamstringing the years in office that Trump did have, now claim that questioning an election is somehow sedition or insurrection. Further, is it intolerable for my side to listen to the side that encouraged, excused, rewarded, etc., mass violence across the country for nearly a year by leftist BLM/Antifa rioters now lecture us about acceptable forms of protest.
Regardless, you did not quote his whole speech, most specifically his explicitly admonition to protest "peacefully and patriotically" and to "primary" those senators who fail to uphold the rule of law, both of which are obviously exculpatory with respect to the incitement charge. In addition, the Capitol incursion began before Trump's speech even ended, not to mention the fact that it would take ~45 minutes to walk from the location of Trump's speech to the Capitol. So, just based on logistics, it's impossible to claim that Trump's speech incited the incursion by the people who attended his speech. There's simply no case, IMO, and pursuing this farce is just throwing gasoline on the fire.
