We agree on more of that than we would disagree for sure. And if you indeed

disagree with any of Biden's policies, I hope you're prepared to be called a racist nazi by the lefty loons here that won't ever disagree with or criticize him for anything. :-) (at most you can take their dismissal and deflection as an admission).

Without going one by one, I would point out that because you believe something is beneficial to society and thus worth doing (and I might even agree with you), that doesn't make it "conservative". Adding layers and costs of regulation, especially if it's intent is mostly to kill something you don't want, is the opposite of conservative. It doesn't matter if that's nuclear reactors, mining rare earths, or putting undue and pointless regulations on abortion clinics. It's all gov't overreach and expansion of the role of gov't, which to me is the opposite of conservative (at least from my economic perspective).

I would also urge you to shun the false claims that economic growth and UE reduction just continues on a growth plane ad infinitum. The claims that he just "continued" on the path started by Obama are absurd. Aside from the fact it's not true because both of those had flattened when Trump took office, it completely ignores the realities of incremental growth. To go from 10% to 8% UE is a lot easier than going from 6% to 4%. Or 4% to 2%. It will not just keep happening, because it has happened to this point. Anymore than Bronco can keep improving by 4 wins every season forever. The same will be true for Biden, in that it will be impossible and unrealistic to expect he can just continue the same market, or even economic, growth we saw under Trump when we're already at our current levels. You can only look at where were we at point A, what steps were taken, and how did they impact or detract to get us to point B. In that aspect, I don't think you can argue that Trump took steps that positively benefitted that growth from '16 to '20 (tax cuts, regulation cuts, improving border security, expanding oil/gas exploration for cheaper energy, improved trade policies, etc.). But I'll also admit I think he benefitted because Obama put policies in place to give him a better starting point in '16. Biden will not have that benefit starting from where we are now (other than from further opening up to get our full economy back to where it was pre-Covid).

You will get zero argument from me on Trump's ridiculous spending and the impact that will have on our kids and grandkids ability to address problems. As I've posted many times, it was anything but conservative, and along with the complete failure to address healthcare, was the two biggest failures of the Trump era by far.
