First, you can claim that Trump was "lying", but by the same token, you'd also have to say that the Dem challenges in previous elections were also lies. But you don't. You are simply choosing to believe that one group's theories have some merit while simultaneously classifying the other group's theories as lies. You can't have it both ways.

Second, you call Trump's claims lies, but that's just your opinion. It's not fact. You cannot say -- nor can anyone -- that the election definitively wasn't corrupted. You can hold that belief, and that's reasonable, but it's not proven. I've been through this ad nauseum on this board before, so I won't rehash it here, but because of the way the election was conducted, no one will ever be able to say whether the certified results were accurate, so a claim on either side of question is fine, but not a fact.

As for who should determine the winner of the election, I believe that all legal votes cast should count, and all illegal votes cast should not count. That was not the procedure followed in this election. Challenges at the state or Congressional levels are in place for exactly this reason -- to stop the certification of a corrupted election, not to overturn a legally conducted election.

In this case, not enough people -- elected members of state legislatures and Congress itself -- thought there was sufficient evidence of a corrupted election to keep Biden from being inaugurated. Constitutionally speaking, that's perfectly fine. The process played out as it should, and the elected officials who voted however they did will soon face the voters again. That's how the system should work and is working.
