I don't much disagree with that, although must again point out every state
that requires a photo ID to vote has a free option available.
And while I realize that isn't the only hurdle to getting an ID for some, I would think those that are so convinced and concerned that this is Jim Crow 2.0, racism, etc., and distort the reality of how many don't have photo ID's (including not differentiating between not having an unexpired one from not easily able to get one), spent a small fraction of what they do resisting these laws, they could individually take all those folks through the process of getting that photo ID.
They don't care about the difficulty of getting photo ID's, or they would spend more time and effort rectifying that situation. They care about depicting the other side as "racist" to drive up donations and voters to the polls, and to make or keep voter fraud easier.
