Ugh. I wouldn’t respond to this if you didn’t repeat the “keep voter

Fraud easier” mantra (except maybe just to like it). Nothing suggests that anyone is interested in that, or that states like NY without voter ID laws (we show all kinds of ID to register but only have to sign in to vote) experience one iota more fraud than the levels that round to 0% all over the country. Like, 14 potential fraudulent ballots our of 14,000,000 examined - that’s the level of fraud that all kinds of exhaustive studies show.

You might whaddabout with objections amounting to: ID laws are racist. Assuming you find that objectionable, how about not mirroring it with all this voter fraud nonsense? The one thing we do really, really well in this country is hold elections. Including in 2020. Really, especially in 2020.

Lastly, “free” IDs are not the only problem. They are not free to someone who needs to take unpaid time off from work or pay for public transportation to get or renew them. States have to ensure those types of obstacles to voter IDs do not exist if they are requiring them. IMO anyway.
