I think that's a classic case of someone not understanding
context. First, I'd want to know what the 595K reported reactions consist of. Second, in cases where the "reaction" consists of death (i.e. someone drops dead from a brain aneurysm a week after being vaccinated.... that gets reported to VAERS) is that "reaction" out of line with the with the expected rate among the general population.
Sticking with the aneurysm example... while not common, people do drop dead of aneurysms. Roughy 30 per day in the US. And with 200 million people receiving at least 1 dose, a certain number are invariably going to drop dead from an aneurysm after receiving the vaccine. And that gets reported. Now if the rate of people dropping dead from an aneurysm is 10 times that of the expected rate within the population... that's a concern. But events being reported to the VAERS site is not unusual or unexpected.
