Too many people in the world to avoid mutations completely. Simply have


to vaccinate against them as they arise and hope that one day the spread of COVID-19 will be reduced by worldwide inoculation efforts to the point of elimination, like smallpox.

Luckily mRNA technology makes it possible to produce "designer" vaccines on demand.
