Agree w some, not all. I don't think he'd be a bad governor
But I also think that if he wins, or even comes close, it won't represent a victory for Trumpism. Just the opposite - you have a guy that essentially threaded the needle (for most of the campaign), making sure the Trumpistanis show up, then essentially distancing himself for the rest of his prospects (the ones that think).
I was disappointed to see him go full-on culture war at the end, though. Running a straight campaign and beating a D in VA by focusing on the issues would have actually been a proof point that the party *may* be better off without theDonald (something the party should take to heart). If he wins today, though, it will be harder to trace the drivers.
But damn, the GOP is still all-in. Look at likely candidates in GA and PA - pretty risky.
