CBO scoring for a ten year deficit add of "only" $367 billion after giving credit for the tax enforcement raising revenue. Part of the gimmickry in the policy is that enhanced child allowances in the current bill are only for one year. Does anyone think it will only be in place for one more year after this one? Same goes for earned income tax credit expansion, Obamacare premium subsidies, ...it goes on. See today's WSJ editorial for the details. The Wharton Budget model projects a $4.6 trillion spend over the next 10 years and the CRFP projects a $4.9 T spend.
