..hasn't been honestly measured since, what, the early 90s(?)

I don't even pay any attention to it (or, honestly, any official government statistical release) that much anymore, it's such bullshit.. I just know that the progression over the last couple months in the "obviously bullshit numbers" most certainly does NOT reflect the reality of the increased rate at which my fairly average lifestyle is draining my wallet.

Oh how miss MIT's "Billion Prices Project". Also, $2 gas.
