General election campaigns, CRT will dominate. It’s a core strategy for the repubs and it works - the repub base reacts strongly to it without knowing what it is for the most part.

Abortion is likely to be a judicial winner this year for the repubs, with the SC due to rule on the MS abortion law in June, I believe. That could, however, turn it into an electoral winner for the dems. So, as much as I think CRT will be constant in repub ‘22 political advertising (unless events intervene to completely change priorities in ways we don’t expect), I think repubs will avoid abortion in the upcoming election like the plague.

It might just turn out to be the only animating issue the dems really have, given how they’re doing, and how they are being perceived, up to this point.
