Another sidebar for you, Tom:...

...When someone wants to "deflect", they change the subject or provide a waddabout. I'm doing neither.

The gist of what you posted happened, and I don't need a waddabout to fake a justification for it. Whether you, I or anyone else agrees with the election contest they were waging, they had every right to wage it. This alternative slate of electors was just part of that case. I don't think OJ Simpson had a legitimate case for acquittal, but he had every right to pursue one.

I'm just pointing out that 1) it's not new information and 2) it's not some nefarious secret plot -- it's always been right out in the open, CNN's pretense aside.
