Autocracy is your goal. Using prosecution as political retribution for legislators with whom you disagree is about as anti-democratic as it gets. The 1/6 committee is investigating the first ever violent assault on our peaceful transition of power, in which a sitting president assembled a crowd which then invaded the Capitol during its ceremonial certification of a fully state certified election.

Of course it’s being investigated. You want to prosecute the FBI too, now that they’ve handed down an indictment for seditious conspiracy? No matter how much you disagree with the characterization of that day, an elected body assembled a committee that it had every right to assemble. There is no crime there.

Using prosecution as a political weapon - well, that does fit well with your endless dismissals of the role of the judiciary in this country.
