Although the standard of justice being applied to the 1/6 participants is grossly disproportionate to the standard of justice applied to the myriad left-wing riots and government disturbances we’ve seen over the years, including the 2020 summer of love, I am in favor of prosecuting folks who committed violence on 1/6, especially against cops.

In contrast, Congress set up an unconstitutional committee whose sole purpose is to go after one side’s political enemies, including private citizens. It has no rules or legitimate purpose. It’s also redundant, given the DOJ’s maniacal pursuit of even meemaws who took selfies on 1/6. The committee Is a complete politicized farce, which was made explicit when the minority party was prohibited from staffing it as every other congressional committee is staffed.

After impeaching Biden and Harris on day one of the next Congressional term, the Republicans should turn their attention to the Dems who participated in this fraud to teach them a lesson. Only by giving them a taste of their own medicine can the Dems be brought back to the norms.
