Dem party leadership. The reason Trump was never impeached over Russia was because Pelosi would not allow it. Neither Hillary nor Biden ever started a “lock him up” chant at a political rally. No former prominent dem legislator or official started musing about jailing Benghazi committee members, although I’m sure all dems saw it as a political witch hunt. No sitting dem president ever called state election officials demanding that they find votes right after threatening prosecution for non-compliance with that demand.

This isn’t just about Newt. This is about a clear, constant feature of the Trumpublican party, and is one of the most obvious ways it threatens American Constitutional democracy.
