If you want to go after someone for violating a “rule”, then…


…go after the restaurant. They have the responsibility to enforce it. Eating is not (yet) illegal.

Additionally, the “rule” in question is plainly unconstitutional. You may have seen the NY mask mandate was overturned yesterday in court on Constitutional grounds. How long do you think the bullshit vax pass has? I’m not sure if civics was taught in your school growing up, but executive officials don’t get just to issue rules in this country that everyone has to follow. We fought a big war against that type of government around 250 years ago.

Regardless, neither party in this case is a government official violating a law, such as what occurred in subverting the integrity of the 2020 presidential election. In this case, someone just had a bite to eat.
