Ever seen pics of Little Diomede and Big Diomede? Hard to imagine a more


remote, God-forsaken place on the planet. Yet 115 people live on Little Diomede (US). Big Diomede (Russia), just over 2 miles away, is uninhabited. Even the Russkies avoid that place!

So yeah, strictly speaking you can see Russia from Alaska. But I doubt even anyone up there even cares. :)
