The whole fiasco started when Palin began claiming to have military


experience because as Gov, she was titular head of the Alaska Nat'l Guard. (Does not mean what you think it means gobbler. Look it up before hitting reply.)

Which led Palin to the next assertion that SINCE she had military experience she would be uniquely suited to take on Putin since "you can see Russia from Alaska".

Whoever was writing for SNL at that point mailed Palin a dozen roses.
