Just because you can do something doesn't mean

you should do something definitely has some merit. However, your OPINION on the rebel flag and what it means and says about the person who flies it are just that, your OPINION. It doesn't make you wrong or right, and it damn sure doesn't give you the right to try and force your opinion on them, anymore than me trying to force my opinion on someone who likes rap music.

In my opinion, your views of slavery is tainted with a modern mindset. And in today's society those views are 100% correct. However, in a historic and economic viewpoint, slaves to Southerners we just tools, as calluse as that sounds. The economy of the South was as dependent on slaves as the North was to factories. How do you think the North would have reacted if the South wanted to outlaw factories.
