The response was too tepid.


The sanctions on the Russians should have been announced the same time that the administration revealed the existence of Russian subversion.

By this time of the campaign, everyone had full knowledge of the content of character of Trump and that he needed no factual basis to make claims of a rigged election.

The Obama Administration was too concerned about Donald's bogus claims to shine a brighter light on real attempts to rig the election.

The Russians and Trump were playing the game by an entirely different set of rules and a respect for the integrity of the election process was never a consideration for either of them.
